Extractives industry
This consists of any operations that remove metals, mineral and aggregates from the earth. Examples of extractive processes include oil and gas extraction, mining, dredging and quarrying.

Civil engineering
This is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.

Construction sector
The construction sector is part of the goods-producing industries super-sector group. The construction sector comprises establishments primarily engaged in the construction of buildings or engineering projects (e.g., highways and utility systems).

Built environment
In social science, the term built environment, or built world, refers to the man-made surroundings that provide the setting for human activity, ranging in scale from buildings to parks. It has been defined as “the human-made space in which people live, work, and recreate on a day-to-day basis.”
